Caribbean Express Company Limited, formed in May 1994.
Caribbean Express is an express package
and mail service that allows you or your company to have a US mailing
address located in Miami. You the owner may receive packages, foreign
subscription magazines and mail at a minimal cost, which is significantly
cheaper than other courier companies. There is an allowance of
1 LB free per day on mail and magazines. No courier company
in Trinidad provides this benefit. On a daily basis,
all mail and packages are shipped via airfreight and cleared through customs
within 2-3 days of receipt at our Miami offices.
Over the years the company has grown steadily from a customer base of
75 in the first year to over 1400 customers to date.
Our Head Offices are located at Cyrus Trace and Churchill Roosevelt Highway, El Socorro, Trinidad and we have offices located in Miami, Florida, U.S.A. We employ a staff of fifteen, three at our Miami office and, in our Head Office there are three office staff, one sales representative and eight Courier Drivers who deliver packages and mail on a daily basis. Each driver is assigned to an area within Trinidad, eg. Port of Spain, Maraval, and South.
Caribbean Express offers a tracking service to all customers. If you would like to track your package you can go online to caribbeanexpress.com. Enter your box number along with your personal password and the location of your package will be identified.
Caribbean Express has a repackaging service that has been put into place to assist our customers who use US shippers that place small items in large boxes. This service is available to all customers and saves you money.
We also offer a "remail" service that allows our box owners to send out documents via the US Postal Service twice weekly.
